RightTimePlaceCare - Improving health service for European citizens with dementia: Best practice strategies' development for transition from formal professional home care to institutional long-term nursing care facilities.  


RightTimePlaceCare aims to improve health service for European citizens with dementia through careful development of best practice strategies using various data collection methods including extensive literature review, focus groups and clinical assessments in different long-term nursing settings.


Eight countries are involved in the project (Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, UK, Finland, Estonia, France, Spain). Witten/Herdecke University is the coordinator of the project.



RightTimePlaceCare is funded by the EC under the 7th Framework Programme of the European Union.
